How to Ship Your Firearm to the Custom Shop
It is legal for any gun owner to ship their firearm to a licensed gunsmith, dealer, or manufacturer for repair or customization using UPS, FedEx, or other private carriers. Once the work is complete, the firearm will be returned directly to the owner via FedEx or equivalent.
Shipping Guidelines
- Insure your firearm for its full replacement value.
- Pack securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Include a detailed note with the following information:
- Full Name
- Shipping Address
- Phone Number(s)
- Type of Firearm
- Serial Number
- Clear Instructions for Work Requested

Shipping & Handling Costs
Return shipping is done via FedEx, unless otherwise requested.
- Minimum shipping charge: $50.00 per firearm
- Additional charges may apply based on the value of insurance coverage
Payment Terms
For Custom Rifle Projects:
- 1/3 Deposit required to confirm and schedule the project
- 1/3 Payment due near project completion
- Final 1/3 Payment due when work is finished
- The firearm will ship after payment clears
- No refunds on custom rifles or custom work
Note: Project timeline begins after all materials (action, barrel, wood, etc.) are received.
For Gunsmithing Services:
- Full payment is required before return shipping
- Invoices will be sent via email, mail, or fax
Non-Payment Policy
- All invoices must be paid within 15 days of the issue date
- Failure to pay may result in:
- Loss of deposit
- Sale of a firearm to cover charges
- Finance charges will apply to invoices 30+ days past due
